Ranks in Dota 2

The goal of any eSports discipline is to bring out the best, and so Dota 2 has come up with a ranking system that most fairly reflects the individual skill of players. Companies try to get the top players in their team, who have a high ranking. That is why the best teams in the world are made up of the representatives of the top part of the world ranking.

The player rating is an important indicator for any performer in the cybersports discipline Dota 2. First, you need to spend 100 hours in normal games to learn the different tricks and features and gain experience and skill. Then you have to go through 10 calibration matches, during which you need to demonstrate your level as much as possible. Depending on the demonstrated skill player receives a rating-MMR and rank – a special icon that is a reflection of his skills.

Ranks in Dota 2 are as follows:

  • Herald – from 0 to 610 MMR;
  • Guardian – from 610 to 1400 MMR;
  • Crusader – from 1400 to 2150 MMR;
  • Archon – from 2,150 to 2,930 MMR;
  • Legend – from 2,930 to 3,700 MMR;
  • Ancient – from 3,700 to 4,460 MMR;
  • Divine – from 4,620 to 5,420 MMR;
  • Immortal – from 6000 MMR.
  • Importantly, Immortal badges become special. They reflect the place the player occupies in the world rankings. It is for this reason that every performer wants to become a leader of this rank.
